Meet the Chef
“I like to think that everyone can remember a time when they sat around a table with loved ones, ate good food, and was happy.”
I am often asked, “Why do you call it ‘Happy Food’?” and the easy answer is that Braxton and I were sitting on the couch trying to decide on an instagram handle and this is what we came up with.
But the long story is, throughout the past 10 years I have cooked countless dinners for friends and family. Thanksgiving dinner in College Station, dumplings & egg rolls for girls night, comfort classics by request and so much more. The memories, laughs, and love that has been shared across those tables, through cooking for my loved ones is the real Happy Food. I’ve never felt as much joy as I do bringing together my love for food and for people. So now, as Happy Food, I want to help bring that happy to your table, bring your loved ones to the table.
